Abstract

1982. Reports from Caritas Christi Hospice, the Anti-Cancer Council of Victoria, and related organisations document the rapid growth of hospice and welfare services in Victoria and nationally. Including welfare grant data, hospice program updates, and proceedings from the 1981 National Convention of Australian Hospices, these materials trace the emergence of palliative and supportive care as coordinated priorities in cancer treatment and community health policy.
